Yam Yam Thai Food & Cafe is a Thai restaurant, which can be found near metro station Vyšehrad. It doesn’t look that attractive on the outside, but inside the restaurant it‘s very cosy and modern furnished. If you choose a well situated table, then you can enjoy a nice view at Prague castle or Nusle Valley. There is wifi available for those who like to work while having lunch. If you’re short on time, you can order your meal as a take-away. Or even have it delivered at your place.
You can find a bit of everything on the menu card. There are meals with different kinds of meat, there are also meals for vegeterians. The degree of spiciness is expressed by the number of chili peppers drawn next to the name of each meal. Sometimes also a bubble with the sign „top“ appears. You can even browse through pictures of meals at the restaurant‘s website. They also offer a daily menu. The price is about 125 Kč (+/- 7,6 USD), it includes a soup and a main dish. Selection of drinks is also very wide. I would recommend „homemade“ raspberry lemonade – tastes great and is very refreshing.
Those who love spicy meals will surely appreciate a speciality named Grung Tab Tom Yam. It falls under „Hell menu“ and it’s an extremly spicy soup. The ingredients include chicken meat, coriander, Thai spice and most importantly: chili peppers of the name „Scotch Bonnets“.
